Every rated match moves your rating. Finish the season in a tier and it pays out cosmetic rewards, then the ladder soft-resets and you climb again.

The tier ladder

Six tiers, one rating.

Your final rating at the end of the season sets your tier. You also need a few matches played to be placed.

  • Bronzeentry tier
  • Silverfrom 1400
  • Goldfrom 1550
  • Platinumfrom 1700
  • Diamondfrom 1850
  • Gladiatorfrom 2000

Provisional. Tier thresholds are the starting values and can change before the first full season; the numbers above are read from the live server.

How a season runs

Play, place, reset.

  1. Play rated matches

    Arena brackets and rated battlegrounds all feed the season ladder. Matches with a bot in them never count.

  2. Season ends

    Each character is awarded the highest tier its final rating and matches played reach.

  3. Rewards go out

    Tier rewards arrive account-wide: titles, portrait borders and looks for the Wardrobe. Never power.

  4. Soft reset

    Ratings are pulled back towards 1500 when a season ends, so a new season starts level.
